How to use Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 with CLOROMAX™

We love how easy Clorox has made it to brush up on your cleaning and sanitizing skills. We’ve included a few basic recipes provided by Clorox here, and their YouTube channel is full of short videos like the one below. You can also check the product page here for more great information!

  • Basic solve for multi-use kitchen cleanser/disinfectant (use on hard nonporous surfaces)
    • Step 1: Use 1/2 cup of Clorox® Regular Bleach2 with CLOROMAX™ in 1 gallon of water
    • Step 2: Thoroughly wet surface with the solution and allow it to remain on the surface for 5 minutes
    • Step 3: Rinse with clean water and dry
  • How to clean and deodorize your trash cans with bleach
    • Step 1: Wipe trash can surface with a wet sponge
    • Step 2: Pour 1/2 cup of Clorox® Regular Bleach2 with CLOROMAX™ with 3/4 gallon of water
    • Step 3: Wipe the surface & wait 2 minutes for disinfecting
    • Step 4: Rinse with warm water
    • Step 5: Let air dry

  • How to clean cutting boards with bleach
    • Step 1: Prep by prewashing with liquid detergent
    • Step 2: Mix 2 teaspoons of Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 with CLOROMAX™, with one gallon of water
    • Step 3: Soak in the solution for 2 minutes for sanitizing
    • Step 4: Rinse with hot water
    • Step 5: Let air dry
  • How to clean and deodorize your refrigerator with bleach
    • Step 1: Remove food before using this product
    • Step 2: Wash surfaces with a solution of 1/2 cup of Clorox® Regular Bleach2 with CLOROMAX™ per one gallon of water
    • Step 3: Let stand 5 minutes
    • Step 4: Rinse thoroughly
    • Step 5: Let interior surfaces dry a few minutes before replacing food
  • How to sanitize and remove stains from kitchenware with bleach
    • Step 1: Wash items thoroughly as you normally would
    • Step 2: Mix 2 teaspoons of Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 with CLOROMAX™, with one gallon of water
    • Step 3: Soak items in bleach solution for 2 minutes
    • Step 4: Drain and let air dry
  • How to sanitize travel coffee container lids with bleach
    • Step 1: Wash and rinse your coffee container
    • Step 2: Mix a solution of 2 teaspoons Clorox® Regular Bleach2 with CloroMax™ Technology with one gallon of water
    • Step 3: Soak the container and lid components in bleach solution
    • Step 4: Let them drip dry – no rinsing required
  • How to brighten/whiten and remove stains in laundry
    • Step 1: Sort laundry by color.
    • Step 2: Add detergent.
    • Step 3: Fill bleach to maximum line and/or add 1/2 cup of bleach to dispenser or wash water.
    • Step 4: Ensure contact with bleach solution for 10 minutes.
    • Step 5: Add clothes and start wash.
